@gamestar.deMit Restoration Project ist nun ein inoffizielles Addon zum Rollenspiel Fallout 2 erschienen. Dabei sind viele Inhalte umgesetzt, die ursprünglich von den Entwicklern angekündigt wurden. Nachdem aber Black Isles sämtliche Arbeiten an Fallout 2 und einer eventuellen Erweiterung eingestellt hatten, übernahm ein Fan das Ruder und hat nun nach zwei Jahren das Projekt fertiggestellt. Enthalten sind sechs komplett neue Gebiete sowie neue Orte in den alten Gebieten. Zusätzlich befindet sich in fast allen Städten des Originals nun neuer Inhalt wie NPCs, Quests oder Gegenstände.
